Hi Hunter Valley Wedding Planner! I'm first on here ...yay me.

I'm planning my wedding in the Hunter & I LOVE your magazine...it has helped me so much to investigate all the options available - big job, I'm slowly organising now for 2011 - so my timelime is about 2 years.

Hello Me Bride, welcome to our forum! I apologise for taking so long in responding, we have had a few technical hitches which are now all sorted!

Congratulations on your engagement!

Two years is a good amount of time to get organised, the timelines all depend on the person and what you are wanting...some people take longer and some take less, it is a personal thing but it can also become about availability of `who` and `what` you want as well - such as venues, celebrants, entertainers....all of your wedding suppliers really! You might want certain venue or celebrant and if you don't book in early, what you want may be booked - throwing all your choices into chaos!

Organising a wedding is a massive job and we would recommend booking everything as early as possible to ensure your day is everything you expect it to be!

An expert can always help too. All of the people you call on for your wedding day have done this before and are usually more than hapy to assist with advice - so don't hesitate to ask.

Hello Me Bride!Congrats! I agree YHVWP timelines are personal. My recommendation is with such a lead time absolutely research your suppliers to ensure they are established and will still be around in 2011. Ask lots of questions, get referrals and don't handover monies until you know they're here for the long haul.
